As part of our strategy, we are acquiring and integrating new businesses to strengthen our market position. To ensure seamless post-acquisition integration, we are seeking a highly skilled Post-Merger Integration (PMI) Manager to drive successful integration projects and optimize synergies.
The PMI Manager will lead the post-acquisition integration efforts, ensuring operational, organizational, cultural, and financial alignment between WEP and the acquired companies. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and experience in managing complex integrations. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with various stakeholders to drive efficiency, maintain business continuity, and realize acquisition synergies.
Key responsabilities
- Build an integration play book: Develop and execute detailed post-merger integration plans, aligning with strategic and organizational objectives and business goals
- Coordinate cross-functional teams: Finance, HR, IT, Sales & Marketing, Operations, and Legal, to ensure seamless transition and operational continuity
- Identify potential integration risks: develop mitigation strategies to address operational, financial, and cultural challenges
- Monitoring: put in place key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure integration success and operational performance post-acquisition
- Project Leadership: Manage digital integration projects from initiation to completion, providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Integration Management: Streamline the integration of digital systems and processes across all business units, focusing on analysis, operational monitoring, and comprehensive staff training and support
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent and consistent communication with all stakeholders - local teams and managers, WEP central support teams and management
Requirements
- Passionate about travel and education and have significant experience living abroad
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles or Project Manager
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, including agile approaches
- Strong understanding of M&A processes, operational integration, and change management Demonstrated excellence in communication, leadership, and time management
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of other languages are highly desirable
- Familiarity with Zoho or other CRM systems, as well as service-oriented ERP software
- Willingness to undertake international travel
